The festive season is here and we all know what that means. People tend to overdo things during this festive season by having more fun forgetting about taking care of themselves and their health which is far more important. Fun is an important thing but know your limits and don’t overdo things my brothers and sisters.
It is very easy to have unprotected sex with someone you have just met during this festive season. This can be caused by taking too much drugs. My brothers and sisters if you know you cannot control you sexual urges kindly always remember to carry a condom with you and use them. HIV/AIDS is real. Don’t compromise your health or your partner`s. Stay protected by condomising.
If you are a person living with HIV/AIDS and you are on ARVs, don’t forget to take your medicine. Studies have shown that by skipping an ARV dose your life span is shortened slowly. Also don’t get drunk or get too high that may lead you to having unprotected sex hence infecting others. Always carry a condom with you to avoid compromising your health and other people’s health.
If you are a teenager or an adolescent please practice safe sex if you feel you want to have sex and cannot control the feeling. This will help a lot in preventing unwanted pregnancy which may lead to school dropout.
Don’t waste your life my brothers and sisters. This festive season can be a sad time for some people who will be reflecting on how they have wasted their lives dreams and hopes. Let it not be you. Don’t get infected nor affected by HIV/AIDS.
All am saying is that don’t party so hard to an extent that you cannot remember a thing. My brothers and sisters just have a good time and be safe. Always remember that your future dreams and goals depends on what you do today.
Always Remember the ABCs of life: Abstain, Be faithful and Condomise! Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
NAYA wishes you a merry Christmas.
