To turn a blind eye to these evolving tactics would be a betrayal of future generations. A concerted effort is imperative, uniting law enforcement, community leaders, educators, and health professionals in a common goal: to eradicate the social endorsement of FGM, to embolden girls to defend their own well-being, and to sever the cycle of abuse, thus illuminating a path towards a future untainted by the specter of FGM.

It is imperative for the government through the Ministry of Education and Health, parents, teachers, and civil society organizations to work jointly to provide supportive atmospheres in schools to empower girls to manage their menstruation with confidence and dignity. Through concerted efforts, we can create more inclusive and equitable environments for all students in schools.
